SDO Kalinga conducts ISO 9001:2015 Virtual Retooling on June 20-24, 2020 in preparation for the ISO 9001:2015 Virtual Surveillance Audit to be held on July 24, 2020. The Division is committed to promote quality management system, hence, continual improvements were applied to improve its services and meet customer satisfaction and expectations.
The following are continual improvements accomplished by the Division prior to the Retooling: the conduct of MRC meetings to strengthen communication and feedback mechanism; re-organization of ISO QMS Committees which include the newly created Division Maintenance Committee taking into considerations the issues, concerns and suggestions, and the involvement of additional people to take part in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities; the implementation of ISO hour aims of orienting newly hired personnel in terms of processes and quality documents and for process owners to review process manuals and organize mode of verifications; application of corrective measures after a thorough evaluation and analysis of the causes and effect of nonconformity; and application of best practices to enhance the performance and effectiveness of quality management system.
