Marie Carolyn B. Verano, CESO VI took her oath as Schools Division Superintendent of Kalinga Division last November 10 at DepEd Central Office, Pasig City.

Verano had been the OIC, Schools Division Superintendent of Kalinga since January 11, 2013 after serving as the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of Apayao and Benguet Divisions. She became a Career Executive Service Officer VI after passing the CESWE in 2010 and the CES-AC in 2012. She also passed the Superintendents Examination in 2005.

DepEd Kalinga continues to move on for better performance with her leadership being a hardworking, amiable and a woman with strong principles . As an evidence of SDS Verano’s outstanding leadership, Kalinga was adjudged the MOST COMPLIANT DIVISION in CAR.

Kalinga Division is also very proud for being a breeding place of education leaders and achievers like Ms. Ginadine L. Balagso, PSDS, who passed the recent Career Executive Service Examination (CESE) and is now being detailed at the HRDO, CAR and Ms. Natividad P. Bayubay, former EPS-Values who is now the Schools Division Superintendent of Dipolog City Division, Zamboanga del Norte. T.Trinidad
